After having played for 30 minutes, Oliveira Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sadoncelho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Guerreiro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Henrique Morais fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Bobal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sadoncelho FC:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Bobal FC's André Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Morais in the 62nd minute of play. Eusébio Nogueira's late challenge caught a Sadoncelho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Bobal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sadoncelho FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
