Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to SC Sarzeda getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Miguel Lima hit a great ball. Pedro Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, José Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, SC Sarzeda's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Magalhães came free, but Pedro Coimbra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jorge Sá came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gouvinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Sá couldn't finish the play. José Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Cardoso in the 39th minute of the match. SC Sarzeda's Pedro Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Sá in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Carlos Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Sarzeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Tavares couldn't finish the play. If Jorge Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, SC Sarzeda's Heitor Queirós got a free kick in the 66th minute. Cláudio Leal, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jorge Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gouvinhas FC booed when SC Sarzeda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Miguel Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sarzeda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gouvinhas FC the free kick. After 87 played minutes SC Sarzeda got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Lima. In the 93rd minute, Jorge Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gouvinhas FC played a much better game than SC Sarzeda and deserved their victory. The SC Sarzeda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
