Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Cintrao's Fábio Faro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oliveira Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Melo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Oliveira Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronfe's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Ronfe's Oliveira Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heitor Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, SC Cintrao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Jesus to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Oliveira Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fábio Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, SC Cintrao's Vasco Tavares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fábio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eusébio Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 minutes, Manuel Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ronfe and the SC Cintrao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Manuel Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vasco Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eusébio Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Luís Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cintrao's protests and gave Luís Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Ronfe a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bento Mota, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Cintrao's Heitor Melo. 1-2. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ronfe's goalkeeper Eusébio Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fábio Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cintrao's Fernando Jesus got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Fernando Jesus off the ground. Fernando Jesus hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Heitor Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Heitor Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Melo having to interfere. Vasco Tavares struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Eusébio Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cintrao. Heitor Melo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ronfe's Oliveira Leal. But to his dismay, Oliveira Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 90th minute, Vasco Tavares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Cintrao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The SC Cintrao supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Cintrao would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
