With an all-out effort, Paradelhas FC's Joaquim Dias threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Antunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adelino Queirós scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquim Dias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Manuel Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Paradelhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Antunes couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Júlio Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Manuel Antunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquim Dias, 2-1. Cândido Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joaquim Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Vasco Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Santarém in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Antunes was the one to do the kick off. Américo Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vasco Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Queirós in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Paradelhas FC booed when Condados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Condados FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
