Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogo Coelho started the match with the kick off. Tiago Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Sá having to interfere. Afonso Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Coelho in the 9th minute of the match. When SC Cerrado's Rodrigo Brito, in the 18th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Cerrado. 21 minutes into the game, Delfim Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cerrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chas the free kick. In the 21st match minute, SC Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Rodrigo Guerreiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Cerrado's Afonso Sá didn't even have to move. In the 26th minute, Diogo Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliveira Aguiar was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Carlos Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. SC Cerrado's Afonso Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Jesus in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Tiago Jesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 56 minutes, Rodrigo Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cerrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Brito in the 58th minute of play forced Chas's goalkeeper Oliveira Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cerrado's zone, Delfim Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Sá came out of the goal and Delfim Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Coelho in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Cerrado's goalkeeper Afonso Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Brito in the 73rd minute of play forced Chas's goalkeeper Oliveira Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Afonso Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Assunção's late challenge caught a Chas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Assunção helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Afonso Sá, was totally fooled by Chas's Rodrigo Guerreiro, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Delfim Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chas's protests and gave Delfim Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Cerrado booed when Chas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveira Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 98 minutes of play Chas's Delfim Fontes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 99th match minute, Chas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Fontes to maneuver through the defense. SC Cerrado's Carlos Moura managed to work through Chas's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Carlos Moura dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
