The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Brito was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Setúbal in the 54th minute of the match. Afonso Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Setúbal in the 64th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Vilar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Baptista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílcar Domingues in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Brito saved Biogal FC from getting behind. Biogal FC's André Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Domingues in the 82nd minute of play. When António Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biogal FC's protests and gave António Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Biogal FC got a freekick which was hit by António Delgado. 86 minutes into the match, Biogal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Domingues came free, but André Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
