Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Ventoselas's Paulo Lopes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Rogério Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Navalha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ventoselas the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Navalha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Simões in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Ventoselas's Emílio Barbosa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Navalha's Miguel Brás couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Ventoselas. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navalha's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Joaquim Pinho managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when SC Ventoselas's Marco Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Pinho having to interfere. Jorge Miranda's late challenge caught a SC Ventoselas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Navalha's Jorge Miranda got a free kick in the 24th minute. Paulo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joaquim Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Lopes in the 32nd minute of play forced Navalha's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SC Ventoselas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Lopes couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Paulo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Ventoselas booed when Navalha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Paulo Lopes made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Moutinho. That made the score 0-1 in the 52 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Luís Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Lopes in the 60th minute of play forced Navalha's goalkeeper Joaquim Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paulo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Armando Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navalha's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Moutinho having to interfere. Joaquim Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Lopes's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Lucas Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Lopes in the 83rd minute of play. Paulo Lopes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Joaquim Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ventoselas. Armando Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lucas Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nuno Castro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ventoselas's protests and gave Nuno Castro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Nuno Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, SC Ventoselas's goalkeeper Lucas Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Coelho. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Navalha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
