In the 14th minute Américo Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bogalhas's zone, Américo Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Delgado came out of the goal and Américo Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Rocha scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute of the match, Américo Delgado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiago Delgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Afonso Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Delgado having to interfere. In the 48th minute Américo Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SC Carregueiro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Bogalhas were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Rocha was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of SC Carregueiro booed when SC Bogalhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fernando Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Bogalhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Rocha couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Rocha in the 79th minute of play forced SC Carregueiro's goalkeeper Rodrigo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Oliveira Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bogalhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Américo Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Carregueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, SC Bogalhas's Fernando Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Bogalhas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
