Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Américo Delgado kicked off to start the match. Basílio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th play minute Viriato Matias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Carneiro. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Luís Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preladas's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Marques in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Carneiro saved SC Carregueiro from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Viriato Matias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Carneiro. Viriato Matias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Viriato Matias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Carneiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Delgado in the 28th minute of play forced Preladas's goalkeeper Basílio Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Américo Delgado notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Preladas's Basílio Pinto. Basílio Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Delgado in the 40th minute of play forced Preladas's goalkeeper Basílio Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Delgado in the 42nd minute of play. Amadeu Magalhães hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Jesus didn't quite understand what happened when in the 46 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Marques made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SC Carregueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Jesus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Carneiro. SC Carregueiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Preladas got a corner. SC Carregueiro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonçalo Jesus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Preladas's Gonçalo Jesus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodrigo Carneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luís Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Carneiro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Matias in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Carneiro saved SC Carregueiro from getting behind. Afonso Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Preladas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Carregueiro:s goal. Preladas:s Basílio Pinto showed great skill when he stopped Bernardo Gaspar:s penalty. Basílio Pinto made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Afonso Guarda sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Afonso Guarda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodrigo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Matias in the 78th minute of play. Américo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Pinto having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Afonso Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
