Retorta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Jorge Magalhães scored to the left of an out of position Viriato Moreira, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match Simão Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Moreira skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SC Adcasal booed when Retorta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertino Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Magalhães's late challenge caught a Retorta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Borges in the 60th minute of the match. Amadeu Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albertino Silva in the 63rd minute. Viriato Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Magalhães in the 64th minute of the match. Basílio Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Jorge Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Viriato Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Fontes in the 72nd minute of the match. Jorge Magalhães was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Retorta booed when SC Adcasal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Jorge Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Adcasal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes SC Adcasal got a freekick which was hit by Simão Tavares.
