The SC Adcasal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of SC Safira booed when SC Adcasal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Adcasal. 70 minutes into the match, SC Adcasal's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Azevedo came free, but Amadeu Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Costa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ricardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Paiva having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Lopes got free with Bento Rocha in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Torres during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, SC Safira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Torres to maneuver through the defense. When Ricardo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Safira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 87thth minute of the game Fernando Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Adcasal's Amadeu Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Borba in the 89th minute of play forced SC Adcasal's goalkeeper Amadeu Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Borba in the 92nd minute of play. The SC Safira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Adcasal's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Adcasal.
