Adolfo Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Caramujo FC's Joaquim Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Tomás Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valpedre FC's Bento Jesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Joel Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Basílio Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Francisco Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pedro Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Vítor Rodrigues notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caramujo FC's Basílio Rodrigues. Basílio Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bento Jesus made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tomás Mota sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Morais in the 48th minute of play forced Valpedre FC's goalkeeper Bento Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Morais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Antunes's late challenge caught a Valpedre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. Valpedre FC's Joel Silva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caramujo FC. Vítor Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Basílio Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 62nd minute of the match Lúcio Antunes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lúcio Antunes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lúcio Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Caramujo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Fontes came free, but Basílio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Mota struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bento Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caramujo FC. After 73 minutes, Humberto Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caramujo FC and the Valpedre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Caramujo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Correia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Caramujo FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Pedro Morais hit a great ball. Caramujo FC's Basílio Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Caramujo FC from getting a goal against them. Basílio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Valpedre FC booed when Caramujo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Freitas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Basílio Rodrigues right hand side. Valpedre FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
