Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amílcar Trindade took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Pinheiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Campos having to make a save. 6 minutes into the game, SC Vilarinhos's Amílcar Trindade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Vilarinhos's Manuel Andrade got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Violeiro FC's Hugo Brito in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Vilarinhos's goalie prevented a goal. Violeiro FC's Adelino Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Violeiro FC's Hugo Brito in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hélder Aleixo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Hélder Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, João Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vilarinhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Violeiro FC the free kick. The supporters of Violeiro FC booed when SC Vilarinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Pedro Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Queirós in the 45th minute of play forced SC Vilarinhos's goalkeeper Hélder Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carlos Assis fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Vilarinhos's protests and gave Carlos Assis a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Hugo Brito struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Hélder Aleixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Violeiro FC.

Hugo Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hélder Aleixo made a huge save. Luís Queirós had several of the SC Vilarinhos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Hélder Aleixo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 70th minute João Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes Violeiro FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Ferro who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Amílcar Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Campos was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Basílio Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vilarinhos's zone, Hugo Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Aleixo came out of the goal and Hugo Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Vilarinhos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Violeiro FC for a fine match.
