Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Fontes started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SC Vilarinhos booed when Valpedre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Valpedre FC defense, Daniel Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bento Jesus. The Valpedre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bento Jesus should have stopped the shot. Amílcar Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amílcar Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Jesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílcar Trindade went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Bento Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílcar Trindade's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. SC Vilarinhos's Amílcar Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Valpedre FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Martins. Daniel Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bento Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vilarinhos. In the 34thth minute of the game Francisco Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vilarinhos's Hélder Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valpedre FC's zone, Daniel Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Jesus came out of the goal and Daniel Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Assis's late challenge caught a SC Vilarinhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Assis helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Assis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Francisco Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vilarinhos's Hélder Aleixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute Daniel Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Amílcar Trindade made the kick off in the second half. Amílcar Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valpedre FC's goalkeeper Bento Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, one of Valpedre FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute, Francisco Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valpedre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Trindade in the 72nd minute of play forced Valpedre FC's goalkeeper Bento Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Rodrigues in the 73rd minute of play. Francisco Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Aleixo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Rodrigues in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Aleixo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vilarinhos's zone, Vítor Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Aleixo came out of the goal and Vítor Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valpedre FC's Bento Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Trindade in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Jesus having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match, Daniel Pinheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bento Jesus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 98th minute, Valpedre FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Pinheiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. SC Vilarinhos played a much better game than Valpedre FC and deserved their victory. The Valpedre FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
