Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Trindade started the match with the kick off. Duarte Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amílcar Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Duarte Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Goncalinha FC's João Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Trindade in the 8th minute of play. When Nuno Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pocilgas's protests and gave Nuno Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Paulo Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pocilgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Faro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SC Pocilgas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rogério Leão hit a great ball. After 27 minutes of play SC Pocilgas's Nuno Nunes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Pocilgas's Nuno Nunes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rafael Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Goncalinha FC's Duarte Sousa in the 43rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Amílcar Cruz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SC Pocilgas through an amazing save. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Rafael Alves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paulo Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. João Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

52 minutes into the game, Cláudio Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pocilgas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goncalinha FC the free kick. Cláudio Neves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A hard and well directed shot from Cristiano Torres led 53 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SC Pocilgas's Amílcar Cruz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0. Paulo Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. João Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Carlos Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Goncalinha FC. 91 minutes into the match, SC Pocilgas's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Alves came free, but Amílcar Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Faro might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Faro ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. João Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goncalinha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Pocilgas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
