Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Amorim took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 12 played minutes Abedim got a freekick which was hit by José Figueiredo. After 13 played minutes, SC Eirol's André Fernandes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuno Sousa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Eirol reached it. Jorge Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Sousa having to interfere. Pedro Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Paiva having to interfere. Nuno Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Amorim in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Alexandre Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Alexandre Pinto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afonso Paiva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Paiva struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Afonso Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abedim. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Afonso Paiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 44 minutes, André Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Eirol and the Abedim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, André Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Abedim got a freekick which was hit by José Figueiredo. 54 minutes into the game, José Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abedim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Eirol the free kick. A collision led to Abedim getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. José Figueiredo hit a great ball. André Fernandes, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Alexandre Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Amorim in the 63rd minute of play. Jorge Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Sousa having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Alexandre Pinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Afonso Paiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paiva in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Pinto in the 80th minute of play forced SC Eirol's goalkeeper Afonso Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abedim fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Eirol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
