Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Joaquim Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oliveirinha FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Curro FC's Joaquim Cunha got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes Curro FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Cunha. Rogério Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Mendes in the 13th minute of play. Sebastião Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rogério Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Nunes in the 28th minute. Rodrigo Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Fonseca having to make a save. Curro FC's Sérgio Mendes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vicente Valente hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rogério Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luís Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Marques to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Rogério Marques in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogério Trindade got free with Luís Alves in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jorge Assis fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curro FC's protests and gave Jorge Assis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Jorge Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Alves having to make a save. After 72 played minutes, Oliveirinha FC's Gil Figueiredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Alves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oliveirinha FC reached it. With a little luck, Curro FC's Luís Alves got control of the ball when Rogério Trindade tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Curro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Valente to maneuver through the defense. Rogério Trindade struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Luís Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oliveirinha FC. After 83 minutes, Eusébio Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oliveirinha FC and the Curro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Curro FC's Joaquim Cunha got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Joaquim Cunha off the ground. Joaquim Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Rogério Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Rogério Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Alves having to interfere. Rodrigo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Curro FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
