In the 36th match minute, Tralhariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Torres to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Ferro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gondar FC's António Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Pires in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

António Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pedro Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílcar Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Gondar FC's Pedro Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Barbosa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Guerreiro in the 70th minute of play forced Tralhariz FC's goalkeeper Amílcar Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Pires who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of António Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Henrique Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Delgado charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Delgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Esteves couldn't finish the play. If Francisco Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Costa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With his leg António Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Tralhariz FC's Francisco Pires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th match minute, Gondar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tralhariz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
