Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Borges took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Benavila FC's Nuno Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute Emílio Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Pires during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Trezeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Pires to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Fernando Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trezeste and the Benavila FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Trezeste getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fernando Tavares hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Benavila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Benavila FC's Américo Araújo got control of the ball when Tomás Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomás Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Américo Araújo made a huge save. Vicente Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heitor Cardoso during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Benavila FC booed when Trezeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Assis in the 55th minute of the match. If Emílio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Benavila FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. When Trezeste's Tomás Pacheco in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benavila FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 87 played minutes Benavila FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Silva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Pacheco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Pacheco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Américo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Pacheco in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
