In the 22nd minute David Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Miguel Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Pereira in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Cavalos FC booed when SC Calhandriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio Santos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavalos FC. Augusto Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Nuno Oliveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miguel Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

SC Calhandriz's Miguel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Santos in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to SC Calhandriz getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abel Borges hit a great ball. Gabriel Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Calhandriz's Viriato Brás got a free kick in the 67th minute. SC Calhandriz's Miguel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Santos in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Emílio Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Andrade. The goal made the score 1-1. Amílcar Dantas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Emílio Santos had several of the SC Calhandriz's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Miguel Andrade as he didn't even see the shot coming. David Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Andrade having to interfere.
