After a rather tough play, Cavalos FC's Joaquim Pires got a free kick in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Emílio Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Veiga, 1-0. Foia FC's Miguel Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Foia FC from getting a goal against them. When Óscar Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foia FC's protests and gave Óscar Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Óscar Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Brito scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when João Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Delgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Oliveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Brito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When Óscar Carneiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Óscar Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Foia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Santos came free, but Miguel Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Foia FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. José Aguiar hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Delgado got free with Nuno Oliveira in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Santos in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Cavalos FC's Nuno Oliveira got control of the ball when Cristiano Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Delgado succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 80th playminute. After 83 played minutes Foia FC got a freekick which was hit by José Aguiar. David Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Miguel Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
