Miguel Veiga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Calhandriz's Amílcar Dantas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. SC Calhandriz's Miguel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Fontes in the 21st minute of play. Miguel Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Cristiano Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Miguel Veiga made a huge save. Miguel Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Foia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Andrade having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Assis to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Veiga came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Calhandriz's Eusébio Assis. But to his dismay, Eusébio Assis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Assis in the 60th minute of play forced Foia FC's goalkeeper Miguel Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, António Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Calhandriz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foia FC the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, SC Calhandriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Tavares to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Foia FC's Paulo Henriques tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Foia FC's zone, Amílcar Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Veiga came out of the goal and Amílcar Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Amílcar Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Calhandriz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the SC Calhandriz defense, Cristiano Delgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Andrade. The SC Calhandriz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Andrade should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Foia FC's Óscar Carneiro got a free kick in the 98th minute. SC Calhandriz's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
