Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Costa started the match with the kick off. Fernando Magalhães's late challenge caught a Malpique's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Malpique booed when Roxa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Malpique's Adelino Paiva got control of the ball when Miguel Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. André Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Miguel Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelino Paiva. Malpique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 24th minute, Amadeu Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adelino Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Adelino Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Macedo in the 29th minute. Júlio Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malpique's Adelino Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Malpique from getting a goal against them. Júlio Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adelino Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Adelino Paiva made a huge save. In the 48th minute, Roxa FC's António Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelino Paiva. Adelino Paiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

A collision led to Roxa FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Emílio Vaz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, José Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malpique's supporters rose to their feet, but José Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Paiva having to interfere. If António Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Amaral's late challenge caught a Roxa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Delfim Amaral hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Diamantino Carneiro, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. António Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adelino Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Malpique's zone, Júlio Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Paiva came out of the goal and Júlio Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, José Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, José Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for André Torres to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th minute José Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When António Costa came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Roxa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Costa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Roxa FC booed when Malpique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
