Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Queirós made the kick off and thus started the match. Adelino Paiva came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Caixaria's Ricardo Santos. But to his dismay, Ricardo Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xavier Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Amadeu Assunção hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Adelino Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Brás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Xavier Neves made a huge save. Afonso Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Malpique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Costa to maneuver through the defense. Rui Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Paiva having to interfere. José Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Xavier Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Neves made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Artur Brás sent off a good shot on target. José Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Neves having to interfere. Artur Brás struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Xavier Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malpique. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Basílio Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes Gustavo Leal shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for SC Caixaria's Xavier Neves to catch but Gustavo Leal was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 58th minute, Basílio Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xavier Neves. SC Caixaria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Carlos Pedroso fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malpique's protests and gave Carlos Pedroso a yellow card for diving instead. SC Caixaria's Ricardo Santos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Santos in the 72nd minute of play forced Malpique's goalkeeper Adelino Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Brás in the 74th minute of play. Artur Brás struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Xavier Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malpique. Rui Moniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Adelino Paiva made a huge save. Artur Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tiago Torres fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Caixaria's protests and gave Tiago Torres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Caixaria's Tiago Torres got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
