Cristóvão Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Fernandes having to make a save. Carlos Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argamassa. Argamassa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meadela FC the free kick. The referee gave Meadela FC a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manuel Esteves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Argamassa's Marco Miranda. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
