Rafael Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Neves having to interfere. In the 19th minute, SC Landeiro's Hélder Cardoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rui Neves. Rui Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Pedro Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Pedro Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Coimbra in the 30th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes SC Banzao got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Lima. Emílio Araújo, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Lisboa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Rafael Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Banzao's zone, Rafael Lisboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Neves came out of the goal and Rafael Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Pedro Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Landeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rui Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Óscar Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Landeiro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. With an all-out effort, SC Banzao's Sebastião Andrade threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fábio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Alexandre Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Banzao's protests and gave Alexandre Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Banzao's Alexandre Lopes got a free kick in the 78th minute. SC Banzao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Landeiro the free kick. Eusébio Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. SC Banzao succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Landeiro had controlled the match.
