In the 4th minute, David Moutinho fired a really elegant long shot, but Bernardo Abreu threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gaios's José Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rocha in the 6th minute of play. José Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rocha in the 14th minute of the match. Emanuel Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abreu having to interfere. Emanuel Henriques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bernardo Abreu made a huge save. Emanuel Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gaios's José Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rocha in the 31st minute of play. José Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rocha in the 32nd minute of play. Vasco Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Henriques in the 54th minute of play. Vasco Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaios's goalkeeper José Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. José Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Gaios:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gaios. 73 minutes into the game, one of Gaios:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Magoito's Bernardo Macedo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of José Machado. David Rocha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Machado came out and tried to block the shot, but David Rocha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. Pedro Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Rocha in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Magoito's David Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Vasco Moniz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, José Machado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José Machado made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Vasco Moniz sent off a good shot on target. Magoito's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
