Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Corvo FC's Bento Dias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Dias in the 5th minute of play forced SC Alfarazes's goalkeeper Júlio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vítor Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Alfarazes's protests and gave Vítor Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Corvo FC's Carlos Pacheco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute Carlos Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Pacheco in the 19th minute of the match. When Vítor Pinto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 23 minutes had been played. Daniel Dias made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sérgio Simões sent off a good shot on target. If Sérgio Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Corvo FC defense, Sérgio Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Dias. The Corvo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Dias should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes of play, SC Alfarazes's Sérgio Simões made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sérgio Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Carvalho's late challenge caught a Corvo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes SC Alfarazes got a freekick which was hit by António Carvalho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Garcia during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Alfarazes! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Corvo FC. Jorge Correia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Júlio Marques. 2-1. Daniel Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Jorge Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Alfarazes's Júlio Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Dias in the 71st minute of play. Sérgio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Dias having to interfere. Corvo FC's Carlos Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Marques was a little too slow when Carlos Pacheco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-2. If Alexandre Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Simões's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Dias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. If Sérgio Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
