Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastião Soares started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Gaspar Santarém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gaspar Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Gueifão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Amorim in the 11th minute of play forced SC Cardanha's goalkeeper Fábio Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Gueifão was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Fábio Gueifão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Amorim's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Veiga in the 38th minute of play forced SC Cardanha's goalkeeper Fábio Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Gaspar Santarém cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rui Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Amorim was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes, Francisco Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cardanha and the SC Rebolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Cardanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vasco Amaro was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Rebolo's players had a chance to rest. Vasco Amaro made a great header on SC Rebolo's corner, it was just that SC Cardanha's Fábio Gueifão managed to reach the ball for a save. SC Cardanha's Fábio Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Amorim in the 67th minute of play.
