Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Calde's Manuel Dantas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Albertino Vale fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpossos FC's protests and gave Albertino Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Albertino Vale hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Delfim Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Dantas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Raul Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Castro in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Manuel Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Calde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Teixeira in the 34th minute of play. When Manuel Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SC Calde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Dantas couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Manuel Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delfim Castro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Raul Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Calde getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Álvaro Vale hit a great ball. Manuel Dantas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Delfim Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Raul Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Neves was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Manuel Dantas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Dantas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Gil Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Armando Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Calde's goalkeeper Raul Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Alpossos FC's Delfim Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manuel Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Delfim Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Raul Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Abel Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delfim Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Calde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
