Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Marques made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Francisco Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Bentos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Hugo Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medroes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bentos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Medroes's Hugo Tavares got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Medroes's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Marques came free, but Rui Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Medroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Rui Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gustavo Vale came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Neves could save by the left post. After 32 played minutes Medroes got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Leão. Francisco Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Bentos booed when Medroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes Medroes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duarte Lopes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Duarte Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rui Gaspar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Filipe Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bentos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Medroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Brito to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes in the game, Filipe Vieira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rui Gaspar having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Francisco Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bentos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bentos's zone, Delfim Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Neves came out of the goal and Delfim Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Medroes getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Manuel Brito hit a great ball. Francisco Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Filipe Vieira could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Rui Gaspar however easily saved by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Medroes's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Marques came free, but Rui Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Bentos booed when Medroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Medroes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filipe Vieira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Medroes's Rui Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Medroes from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Bentos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
