In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Boinheira's goalkeeper José Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. José Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Aguiar. Francisco Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Marques in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Vítor Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Gonçalves hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mariano Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Neves having to interfere. SC Boinheira's Emanuel Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, SC Bentos's João Neves got control of the ball when Emanuel Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Rocha scored 0-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Monteiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Mariano Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bentos's João Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Vieira got free with José Miranda in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 played minutes SC Boinheira got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Oliveira. José Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, SC Bentos's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mendes came free, but João Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Boinheira's zone, Filipe Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Miranda came out of the goal and Filipe Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Filipe Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bentos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, SC Boinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Guarda to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, SC Bentos's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Monteiro came free, but João Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, SC Bentos's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mendes came free, but João Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Bentos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
