Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when António Brito kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Soares in the 3rd minute of play forced Nasce FC's goalkeeper Nuno Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gabriel Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, SC Ifanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Soares to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Delfim Setúbal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Ifanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nasce FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, António Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vicente Alves hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, André Lima sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nasce FC's Nuno Moniz didn't even have to move. Carlos Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Moniz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that António Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Moniz was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Francisco Marques hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. SC Ifanes's António Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Moniz having to interfere. Nuno Moniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Brito's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Francisco Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Gonçalves. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Simões to make the kick off. With his leg Nuno Moniz managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when SC Ifanes's Carlos Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Francisco Marques fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nasce FC's protests and gave Francisco Marques a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Nasce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Marques to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Soares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nuno Moniz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nasce FC's Nuno Moniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nasce FC from getting a goal against them. During the 79th minute of the match Francisco Marques completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Francisco Marques a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Francisco Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nasce FC's zone, António Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Moniz came out of the goal and António Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Simões the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Ifanes booed when Nasce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nasce FC had won after a very even match.
