Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristiano Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Ifanes's Gabriel Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Carvalho in the 8th minute of play. If Álvaro Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Álvaro Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Gonçalves. SC Ifanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Carlos Soares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Júlio Leão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Ruival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Brito in the 27th minute of play. Emílio Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ruival's Emílio Valente got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Ruival got a freekick which was hit by Abel Matias. With an all-out effort, SC Ifanes's Júlio Leão threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from António Brito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 38 minutes, Cristiano Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruival's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Álvaro Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Delfim Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delfim Setúbal hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Gil Guerreiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Leão, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ruival booed when SC Ifanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Ifanes's Gil Guerreiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Garcia in the 56th minute of play forced SC Ifanes's goalkeeper Gabriel Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ruival booed when SC Ifanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Carlos Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristiano Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ruival fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Garcia couldn't finish the play. Gil Guerreiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 70 played minutes SC Ifanes got a freekick which was hit by Gil Guerreiro. Fábio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Leão having to interfere. Júlio Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Soares went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Ruival got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Morais. The supporters of SC Ifanes booed when Ruival was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ruival's zone, Carlos Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Leão came out of the goal and Carlos Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Gonçalves having to interfere. The supporters of Ruival booed when SC Ifanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-2 became the score in the 96th minute when Cristiano Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Ruival players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Ifanes from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
