Manuel Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. João Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Manuel Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, André Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Coimbra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Pesqueiro FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hélder Delgado hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Figueiredo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pesqueiro FC's Lourenço Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Óscar Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Manuel Coimbra made a huge save. After 86 minutes, Hélder Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pesqueiro FC and the Nataria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Hélder Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Figueiredo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Coimbra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
