The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tabosa's Amadeu Aleixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Tabosa from getting a goal against them. João Figueiredo in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeu Aleixo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 18 minutes, Alexandre Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabosa and the Nataria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute Alexandre Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nataria's Óscar Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Cunha in the 62nd minute of play. André Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nataria's João Amorim got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Alexandre Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amadeu Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, André Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nataria's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Pinho in the 97th minute of play. The Tabosa players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nataria from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
