With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Figueiredo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Silva saved Alufinha FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, André Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nataria's supporters rose to their feet, but André Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lourenço Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nataria. André Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Silva having to interfere. In the 28th minute João Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Macedo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, João Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lourenço Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Nataria booed when Alufinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lourenço Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Silva having to interfere. Diamantino Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Alufinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Figueiredo came free, but Lourenço Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lourenço Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Pinho in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Nataria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Silva in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Anjos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rui Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Lourenço Silva managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Nataria's André Pinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Silva having to interfere. André Pinho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Lourenço Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rui Rodrigues hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 minutes, Rui Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alufinha FC and the Nataria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Viriato Resende managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Alufinha FC's Óscar Abreu got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Rui Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Óscar Anjos was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Diamantino Antunes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Armando Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Óscar Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Nataria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
