Varejeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Adoria the free kick. Tomás Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Mariano Faro made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Morais. SC Adoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. António Lisboa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 19th playminute. After 23 played minutes SC Adoria got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Paiva. Tomás Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by António Lisboa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomás Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Moreira in the 38th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Ricardo Delgado put in a rough tackle. 44 minutes into the game, one of Varejeira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The wind increased when Basílio Aleixo made the kick off in the second half. Varejeira's Abel Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Lisboa in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Xavier Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Adoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Manuel Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Varejeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Amaro couldn't finish the play. SC Adoria's António Lisboa got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Adoria booed when Varejeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Lisboa in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Aleixo in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Adoria's Domingos Cabral got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Adoria's zone, Rodrigo Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Morais came out of the goal and Rodrigo Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Dantas having to interfere. SC Adoria were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Varejeira to leave the ground with a draw.
