Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Moruja's David Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bento Fonseca hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Sérgio Jesus struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Nuno Coimbra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pampilhosa. Nuno Coimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Amadeu Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Moruja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pampilhosa the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Moruja's Amadeu Moura got a free kick in the 10th minute. Rodrigo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Coimbra having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, SC Moruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Pampilhosa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when David Gonçalves scored to the left of an out of position Cristiano Borba, making the score, 1-0. Cristiano Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. David Gonçalves was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. SC Moruja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Pampilhosa's Cristiano Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Gonçalves in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Jorge Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Moruja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, SC Pampilhosa's goal looked a bit too open when David Gonçalves came free, but Cristiano Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Sérgio Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pampilhosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Nuno Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Jesus in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sérgio Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Pampilhosa booed when SC Moruja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Jesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Coimbra having to make a save. Nuno Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sérgio Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Coimbra having to interfere. Nuno Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Costa in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to SC Moruja getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bento Fonseca hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes SC Moruja got a freekick which was hit by Bento Fonseca. If David Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes SC Pampilhosa got a freekick which was hit by José Soares. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
