Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Costa kicked off to start the match. When Rodrigo Costa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Pampilhosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Costa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 5 minutes, Sérgio Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pampilhosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Jesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, SC Pampilhosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Humberto Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Humberto Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bencanta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Borba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play, Bencanta FC's Eusébio Nascimento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Borba was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28thth minute of the game Emílio Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pampilhosa's Cristiano Borba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emílio Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cristiano Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, SC Pampilhosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Matias to maneuver through the defense. Emílio Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Teixeira in the 38th minute of play forced SC Pampilhosa's goalkeeper Cristiano Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Sérgio Jesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Fontes. Bencanta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Jesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Teixeira made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Sá during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bencanta FC booed when SC Pampilhosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Costa in the 58th minute of the match. The SC Pampilhosa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bencanta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
