Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tiago Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lavra's Luís Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Vale in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Lavra got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Almeida. Humberto Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Sérgio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lavra's zone, Tiago Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Lisboa came out of the goal and Tiago Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Giesteira FC's José Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Lisboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Lisboa was a little too slow when Tiago Vale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Sérgio Lopes sped through Giesteira FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Humberto Ribeiro.

In the 53rdth minute of the game José Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavra's Luís Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Lisboa having to interfere. Gonçalo Antunes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Luís Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Moura hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Sérgio Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Giesteira FC defense, Sérgio Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Ribeiro. The Giesteira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. If José Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lavra's Alexandre Andrade got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 90th match minute, Giesteira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Lavra were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Giesteira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sérgio Moura took the corner. The corner ended in Sérgio Moura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Giesteira FC's Humberto Ribeiro did a great save. Luís Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Vale in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Vale in the 96th minute of play forced Lavra's goalkeeper Luís Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
