Luís Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Mota in the 8th minute of play. If Albertino Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertino Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Inácio Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adoria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Valente in the 30th minute. Inácio Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Lavra's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Mota came free, but Luís Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Sandro Almeida hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Mota in the 41st minute of play forced Lavra's goalkeeper Luís Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Inácio Maia made a precise shot to the right of Luís Lisboa. Lavra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Adoria FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albertino Mota was the one to do the kick off. When André Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Adoria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Amaral couldn't finish the play. Albertino Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luís Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Lisboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Maia in the 63rd minute. Sandro Almeida got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 played minutes Lavra got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Almeida. In the 70th minute, Inácio Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lavra's Luís Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Mota in the 72nd minute of play. Lavra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Albertino Mota scored to the left of an out of position Luís Lisboa, making the score, 0-3. Albertino Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Lisboa having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Lavra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Albertino Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adoria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. António Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Lisboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Adoria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Valente came free, but António Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Afonso Valente notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Adoria FC's António Brás. António Brás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Adoria FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lavra throughout the match.
