When SC Beirolas's Óscar Luz in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Painho FC's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the game, Óscar Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Beirolas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Painho FC the free kick. The supporters of Painho FC booed when SC Beirolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Nuno Soares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Beirolas's Augusto Guarda didn't even have to move. A collision led to SC Beirolas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Domingos Resende hit a great ball. Heitor Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, António Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Guarda. António Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Painho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, António Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Guarda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jacinto Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Luz in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Cândido Monteiro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Óscar Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes of play, Painho FC's António Barros made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Guarda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heitor Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Moutinho fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Beirolas's protests and gave Vítor Moutinho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Beirolas's Vítor Moutinho got a free kick in the 70th minute. Heitor Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Beirolas's goalkeeper Augusto Guarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Barros in the 83rd minute of play forced SC Beirolas's goalkeeper Augusto Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, António Barros put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Guarda. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Painho FC had won after a very even match.
