After a rather tough play, SC Paulinos's André Tavares got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of SC Paulinos booed when SC Maganha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Tavares's late challenge caught a SC Maganha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Maganha booed when SC Paulinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Antunes in the 19th minute of play forced SC Paulinos's goalkeeper Afonso Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, SC Paulinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Barros to maneuver through the defense. André Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Daniel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Tavares in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Maganha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. André Gomes hit a great ball. The long shot by Lúcio Luz in the 33rd minute really tested Pedro Valente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute, Lúcio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Pedro Valente successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vítor Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Lúcio Costa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Maganha's Pedro Valente. Pedro Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Castro was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Matos in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, SC Paulinos's Lúcio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Daniel Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Abreu having to interfere. André Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Afonso Abreu made a huge save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Daniel Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Maganha's Pedro Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, SC Maganha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, SC Paulinos's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Matos came free, but Afonso Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, SC Maganha's Catarino Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, SC Maganha's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Costa came free, but Pedro Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
