Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Castro got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Montezinho's Tiago Aguiar got a free kick in the 2nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Castro in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Guarda saved Montezinho from getting behind. Humberto Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Costas short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Humberto Guarda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SC Paulinos's Afonso Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Nascimento in the 10th minute of play. Eusébio Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Castro in the 22nd minute of play forced Montezinho's goalkeeper Humberto Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Castro had several of the Montezinho's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Humberto Guarda as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, André Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Paulinos's supporters rose to their feet, but André Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Guarda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lúcio Costa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Humberto Guarda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Humberto Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Nascimento made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Paulinos's goalkeeper Afonso Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afonso Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to SC Paulinos getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. André Gomes hit a great ball. Joaquim Veiga struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Afonso Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montezinho. Afonso Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joaquim Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Nascimento in the 75th minute of play. If Eusébio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Veiga in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Afonso Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
