Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Cruz got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute of the match, Bernardo Azevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joel Setúbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Duarte Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Setúbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Bernardo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Setúbal having to interfere. Bernardo Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Setúbal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquim Soares struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Domingos Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freixianda FC. Joaquim Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Martins having to make a save. When Freixianda FC's Fernando Cruz in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botica's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquim Soares scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joaquim Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Alexandre Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingos Martins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Freixianda FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alexandre Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Azevedo in the 53rd minute of play forced Freixianda FC's goalkeeper Joel Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Martins having to interfere. Joaquim Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Joaquim Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingos Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Joel Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Botica's goalkeeper Domingos Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. When Miguel Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freixianda FC's protests and gave Miguel Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. Joel Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Azevedo in the 86th minute of the match. If Alexandre Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bernardo Azevedo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Setúbal. Joel Setúbal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Freixianda FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
