The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Mota lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, one of SC Pocarrao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pocarrao. The referee gave Melo a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Setúbal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Pocarrao's Gaspar Lisboa. 1-0.
