Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaspar Moutinho kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Cabeda FC booed when SC Almendra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Tavares in the 7th minute of play forced Cabeda FC's goalkeeper Jaime Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Almendra's zone, Vítor Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Morais came out of the goal and Vítor Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Vítor Leal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Morais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Daniel Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabeda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almendra the free kick. Daniel Fonseca hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Adelino Morais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vítor Leal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, SC Almendra's Gaspar Moutinho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Almendra's Adelino Morais proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save SC Almendra from getting a goal against them. Vítor Leal had several of the SC Almendra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Adelino Morais as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 46thth minute of the game Heitor Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabeda FC's Jaime Pacheco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heitor Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jaime Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vítor Leal made the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Vítor Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Adelino Morais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Dias's late challenge caught a Cabeda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Dias helped the player get up and apologised. André Dias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If André Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute of the match Rogério Guerreiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Morais skillfully saved the ball. Jaime Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Almendra's Adelino Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Esteves in the 89th minute of play. Gaspar Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jaime Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
