Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfredo Carvalho made the kick off which started today's match. Francisco Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hélder Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Diogo Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alqueve FC's Francisco Macedo got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Alqueve FC's Hélder Setúbal got control of the ball when Francisco Brás tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Nunes in the 13th minute of play forced Alqueve FC's goalkeeper Hélder Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, SC Azia's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Carvalho came free, but Delfim Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Miguel Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Azia's protests and gave Miguel Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Azia's Miguel Cunha got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Alfredo Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes SC Azia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pacheco who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Diogo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alqueve FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luís Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Alqueve FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Porto. Francisco Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Luís Nunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélder Setúbal, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SC Azia's Delfim Pacheco got control of the ball when Diogo Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SC Azia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. André Bessa hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Correia got free with Delfim Pacheco in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Alqueve FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Nunes came free, but Hélder Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Correias short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Delfim Pacheco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alqueve FC's goalkeeper Hélder Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Setúbal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Alfredo Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Delfim Pacheco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alqueve FC. Luís Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Setúbal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Alfredo Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alqueve FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alfredo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Delfim Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Alqueve FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Azia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
