Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Joaquim Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Chelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Luz's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Miguel Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Figueiredo in the 20th minute of play. If Joaquim Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Chelo's Joaquim Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rdth minute of the game Joaquim Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canos's Miguel Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 minutes, Rui Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canos and the SC Chelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Canos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Moura to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Canos got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Carvalho. SC Chelo's Alberto Amaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canos. Rui Moura hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Alexandre Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Miguel Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Moura was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Canos's zone, Joaquim Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Veiga came out of the goal and Joaquim Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 played minutes Canos got a freekick which was hit by José Gonçalves. After 47 played minutes, SC Chelo's Alberto Amaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Chelo reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After having played for 57 minutes, Cristiano Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Cabral having to interfere. SC Chelo's Alexandre Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Miguel Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 70th minute, Joaquim Figueiredo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alexandre Mendes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Miguel Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Chelo. After a defensive mix-up in Canos's zone, Alexandre Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Veiga came out of the goal and Alexandre Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armindo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Chelo's Alexandre Mendes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Veiga. That made the score 0-1 after 93 minutes of play. 99 minutes into the match, Canos's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Mendes came free, but Miguel Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Chelo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
